Z Air is a small regional airline providing scheduled flights between Aruba, Bonaire, Curaçao (ABC islands) and Colombia. Z Air also operates charter flights (& Medivac flights) between Aruba, Bonaire, Curaçao, St Eustatius, St Maarten, Baranquilla, Medellin, Cali  and Bogota.

The company was founded in May 2000 by Captain Rene Winkel, with its headquarters in Curaçao and a base station in Bonaire operating a Piper Seneca PA34-200T aircraft. The PA34-200T Seneca was replaced by a Piper Chieftain PA31-350 in 2005.

2011

In 2011 a Learjet 35A was added to the fleet to carry out Medivac services dedicated to a Health Foundation in Bonaire. In 2015 a second Learjet 55 was added to support the Medivac service. In 2017 the Learjet 55 was replaced with a Learjet 31. In April 2008 a Britten Norman BN2A Islander was added to the fleet for regular charter service between Curacao & Bonaire.

2018

In 2018 two Beechcraft 1900D 18 seater aircrafts were added to the fleet, starting scheduled service between Curacao, Bonaire, Aruba.

2019

In January 2019 scheduled service was started between Curacao & Baranquilla.

2021

In December 2021 scheduled service was started to Medellín.

2021

In July 2021 the first SAAB 340B (SF3) Turboprop 34 seater aircraft was added to the fleet, initiating the Medellin route. In September 2021 the second SAAB 340B Turboprop 34 seater aircraft was added to the fleet.
