Carriage Of Accompanied Pets

The following accompanied pets may be accepted free of charge in the cabin or aircraft hold:

A dog trained to lead the blind, depended on breed and size.

A dog trained to assist the deaf, dependend on breed and size.

Only the two above-mentioned items must comply with the Carriage Of Accompanied Pets.

Carriage of Pets in the Cabin

You can take a small dog with you into the cabin.

The following requirements are met:

Fee USD $25

Your pet must be at least 10 weeks old

Your pet must travel in a suitable pet travel bag of max. 46x28x24cm (L x W x H).

Your pet must be able to stand up and lay down comfortably

Total weight of your pet and travel bag or kennel combined may be max. 8kg (18 lbs)

The kennel must be put under the seat in front of you (therefore exit rows are excluded)

It is not allowed to take your pet out of the travel bag or kennel during the flight

Your Pet and their carrier:

The carrier will count as the one standard carry-on item which you are allowed to bring on board.

Your pet must always remain in its closed carrier nder the seat in front of you.

Your pet's carrier must be big enough to allow the to stand up, turn around and lie down safely and comfortably with no part of them extending outside the carrier. Your pet could be refused travel if the carrier is deemed to be too small for them.

Length: 50cm (19.7 in)

Pet carriers that exceed the maximum allowable size can be transported in the checked baggage compartment, provided they weigh no more than 23kg, or measure more than 218 cm (86 in) in linear dimensions 91 x 61 x 66 (length + width + height). Contact Z Air for rates and assistance.

Other Restrictions

Only one small dog in the cabin is allowed per passenger.

Your pet must be at least 12 weeks old and fully weaned.

You'll need to arrive a full 30 minutes prior to the recommended check-in time for your flight as you must see an agent at check-in. When traveling with a pet, it is not possible to check in online or at an airport self-service kiosk.

Special service animals are accepted as long all of the following conditions are met:

Notification of the service animal must be made to Z Air at time of reservation or 72 hours before schedule departure.

The passenger provides, upon request a certified medical statement outlining the Medical requirements for the service animal.

Carriage of Pets in the Cargo Compartment

Your dog may travel in a ventilated part of the Cargo on most Z Air flights.

Make sure to meet these requirements:

Fee USD 40

Your pet must be at least 10 weeks old

Your pet must travel in a kennel that complies with the IATA rules (A-Kennel Type 100)

Dimensions 53x41x38cm, Netto 8kg

Total Weight of your pet and kennel combined may be max 23kg, additional charges apply for higher weights.
