Membership terms and conditions for Z-Rewards
1.0
Each eligible person applying for membership Z-Rewards accepts and agrees to abide by the Terms and Conditions, which set out the contractual relationship between Z Air and each Member of Z-Rewards. Z Air will receive, store, and otherwise process and hold Members’ Data in connection with administering aspects of Z-Rewards as set out in these Terms and Conditions. Members consent to receive marketing communications in relation to our range of products and services at the time of sign-up. This does not affect your right to later opt-out of email marketing communications.
1.1
Z Air reserves the right to modify (in whole or in part) or terminate the Z-Rewards at any time without prior notice. Modifications may concern rules of the Z-Rewards, membership conditions, the number of Points required for certain destinations, the period of validity of Points, or the number of Points earned by fare category and/or routing.
1.2
Z Air reserves the right, without giving a reason at its sole discretion, to rescind or refuse membership of Z-Rewards.
1.3
Z Air reserves the right to terminate Z-Rewards at any time but will use its reasonable endeavors to give at least three months’ notice to Members. Notice of termination will be provided via email.
1.4
Points cannot be transferred between different membership numbers.
1.5
Z Air reserves the right to audit a member’s account and records without notice to the Member to check for compliance with the Terms and Conditions.
2.1
Membership requests can be obtained by completing an online Form
2.2
Persons under 12 years of age, the staff of Z Air, its parent, affiliated, and associated companies are excluded from joining the Program.
2.3
Only one Membership is allowed per person. Organizations, corporations, and other entities cannot be enrolled as a member
2.4
Z-Rewards Membership is free of charge.
2.5
Membership is offered at the discretion of Z Air and Z Air reserves the right to refuse, suspend or cancel the Membership of any applicant who does not comply with the Terms and Conditions.
2.6
Applicants accepted as Members will be given a Membership Number and may be provided with a Card. A member may not have multiple Memberships, and thus each Member must maintain only one account. Upon activating their membership, Members agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
2.7
Membership termination may occur:
- If a member fails to comply with these Terms and Conditions
- Upon the wish of a Member at any time by written notice
- Upon the termination of the Program
- Upon the death of the Member
- Where an account is dormant for 2 years (24 consecutive months)
- Where the Member discloses their login and or password to a third party
2.8
Upon Membership termination, all accumulated Points will be canceled.
2.8.1
Where there is no earning or redeeming activity on a member’s account within a consecutive 24-month period, then all Points accumulated will be canceled.
2.9
Members are responsible for the security of their individual logins and passwords and Z Air shall have no liability whatsoever in the event:
- That a member’s login and/or password is disclosed by the Member, whether intentionally or not, so as to allow a third person access to the Data and/or to make any transactions.
- The Member’s card is used fraudulently
2.10
The Member is solely responsible for any tax liability incurred as a result of the Membership. Members are advised to check with their accountant or tax advisor on this subject.
3.1
The Point is the basic unit of calculation in the Program.
3.2
Members are eligible to receive Points for travel in eligible booking classes on scheduled flights operated and marketed by Z Air. Points have no cash value and cannot be sold, traded, or exchanged other than for Reward flights under the Program. Points are not awarded on Code Share or interline flights where Z Air is not the operating carrier.
3.3
Only public fares are eligible for Points. Any negotiated, inclusive tour, free or complimentary tickets are not eligible for Points.
3.4
It is possible to claim missing Points for flights taken in the past six calendar months depending registration date, by sending an e-mail to ezrewards@flyezair.com. Points may be credited at Z Air’s discretion. Z Air may require proof of travel on the relevant flight by providing the ticket number, for the flight claimed. The Member has the responsibility to ensure that their Membership number is entered in their reservation record before the flight. Members should remind their travel agent or Z Air office to enter their Z-Rewards number. When making a booking online the number must be entered at the time of booking.
3.5
Points will automatically expire after 24 months, and Expired Points will be automatically deducted from your account. Z Air recommends that you use your Points rather than have them expire.
3.6
Points are not credited for unused or refunded tickets.
3.7
Provided the Member’s account number is in the airline reservation record prior to departure, Points will automatically be credited to a member’s account after the flight. In the event a flight is canceled, no Points will be earned.
3.8
In case of any errors (Points credited/debited incorrectly, etc.) Z Air reserves the right to correct the account of any Member.
4.1
As soon as a member’s account has reached the required Points level, a Reward ticket can be booked online at www.flyzair.com or via our loyalty department by sending an email to ezrewards@flyezair.com. The Points cover the base ticket fee only, surcharges, including government taxes and airport charges, remain for the Member.
4.2
Z Air reserves the right to change the conditions regarding the number of Points required to obtain a Reward and to cancel Reward offers. All Reward tickets are subject to applicable taxes, fees and charges for which the Member will be liable.
4.3
If a Reward ticket request is processed by Z Air Customer Contact Centre, the Member should submit a request by e-mail (ezrewards@flyezair.com) at least 3 days before the intended date of travel. Members are encouraged to make Reward bookings well in advance of the date of travel.
4.4
Open-dated Reward-tickets are not allowed.
4.5
All Reward tickets are subject to seat availability and to capacity controls (adjusted at Z Air’s sole discretion) in the designated Z Air booking class. The number of seats for Reward tickets is limited, even on flights that are not fully booked.
4.6
Points cannot be combined with cash or any other form of payment to get a Reward ticket.
4.7
Once issued, Reward tickets are subject to the same Conditions of Carriage and the same Fare Rules and Conditions as an Z Air ticket, e.g. a change fee will apply for an itinerary change. Changes to Reward bookings are permitted only in respect of date, time, and route, provided that the new route, date, or time selected would, as at the date the change is requested, require the redemption of the same amount of points as was redeemed in making the original booking. Name changes are not permitted.
4.8
If the Reward ticket is not used, Points will be forfeited and not re-credited to the Members account. Where a Reward ticket is not used, the Member may apply for a refund of airport taxes (an administration fee may apply)
4.9
Reward tickets are not redeemable for cash, refundable or exchangeable. At no time may Reward tickets be purchased by, sold to, bartered, or otherwise transferred to other persons and Z Air may confiscate Reward tickets in such circumstances.
5.1
We collect personal data from you when you register as a member of Z-Rewards. We also collect personal data when you reference your Z-Rewards membership, when you make bookings through our website and/or call center, and when you register to participate in Z-Rewards marketing programs and competitions. The personal data is used for the opening and general management of your Z-Rewards membership as described in these Terms and Conditions. It is also used for the management and administration of the Z-Rewards scheme, accounting and auditing purposes, systems testing and development, direct marketing, and marketing research.
5.2
Your personal data is collected and processed in compliance with Privacy Laws
5.3
By accepting these Terms and Conditions, you are consenting to provide your personal data for the purposes set out in terms 5.1. If you indicate your agreement to receive special offers by email, your personal data will be used for direct marketing. Your personal data is processed and managed by Z Air B.V. and its affiliated marketing department.
5.4
Except to the extent that Company is required by a competent authority to release such information your data will not be sold, exchanged, or released to any other third parties without your explicit consent.
5.5
Z Air B.V. may update or change the privacy policy Terms and Conditions as required. If the changes are material, we will notify members on our website for a period of 30 days of these changes.
